2018 TRANSITIONAL JUSTICE POLICY SYMPOSIUM

Zimbabwe has witnessed several episodes of violent conflict that have created deep divisions within the country’s society, mainly because of the failure by the state to acknowledge the truth as a first step to justice.

THE FACILITATORS

The NTJWG in collaboration with CSVR, is pleased to announce the facilitators for the 2018 Transitional Justice Policy Symposium which will take place from 21 to 23 November 2018. The panel brings together local and international expertise on various transitional justice disciplines including truth seeking, security sector transformation, memorialisation and policy development and advocacy. It includes facilitators from Kenya, Switzerland, Cote d’Ivoire, Uganda, South Africa and Zimbabwe.
