The National Transitional Justice Working Group (NTJWG) joins the rest of the world in commemorating the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women. This year’s commemorations are running under the theme “Orange the World: End Violence against Women Now!”. The colour orange is used to represent a brighter future free of violence against women and girls. Today also marks the start of the “16 Days of Activism against Gender-Based Violence Campaign.” This period, therefore, is a recognition of the ongoing efforts to protect women from violence across the world.
